What’s the Difference Between Live Resin and Live Rosin?

Both Live Resin and Live Rosin are concentrates made from fresh frozen flower and preserve the most desirable compounds like the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.  Connoisseurs love both concentrates for their high potency, entourage effect, flavor and aroma.

Live Resin is extracted using BHO and the residual solvents are purged.  What’s left is a slightly refined, premium concentrate that has slightly more cannabinoids than rosin.  The Live Resin extraction process produces a larger output than the Live Rosin process, making Live Resin more affordable.

Live Rosin is produced using a solventless process.  The extraction process uses only ice, water, and agitation.  What’s left is a premium concentrate that’s a bit more oily than Resin, because it contains more plant material.

While top shelf Live Resin does not have traces of residual solvents in the end product, some health-conscious consumers prefer the natural process of making Live Rosin.
